Costa Blanca English Church Logo

Welcome to the Blog

So this is the first blog of the Costa Blanca English Church from Rev Steven – your English Priest on the Costa Blanca. We are recently established and you can obviously find out more about us throughout the pages of the website but sometimes, reading a blog gives us the chance to stay up to date, know the latest gossip and at the same time have some reading for a Sunday afternoon.

Where are we and Who are we?

You can find out more about who we are and what we stand here. But in brief, we are really just starting out, an informal group not associated with any of the main stream “Churches” or “branches” of Christianity but a warm, welcoming and accepting group especially set up for English Speakers on the Costa Blanca.

Father Steven, our English Priest on the Costa Blanca also offers services and care in Spanish, having lived permanently in Spain for over 2 decades and being married to a Spaniard. His Spanish is fluent and one thing he would like to go is help you bring the English speaking and Spanish communities together more – maybe language groups evolve out of all this – Gods will be dont so we shall wait and see.

Get Togethers & Community Support

We don´t have a physical meeting point (yet) but as people become involved and if Gods will is that we become a registered Religious group in our own right then this may well happen. In the meantime, Reverend Father Steven is available to help on a purely love driven voluntary basis whenever you need spiritual guidance. This could take the form of:

  • Prayer
  • Services
  • Hospital visits
  • Funerals
  • Weddings / Blessings (see specific page for legal requirements)
  • Get togethers (if anyone wants to help organise them)
  • Comfort
  • Or just someone to talk to

So please do browse the website and remember that we are here to help you, in anything you need. Just click the contact us button for details of how to get in touch.
